Zurich Financial Services has made a bid for Turkish insurer Yapi Kredit Sigorta, reports Haberturk newspaper.
Insurance Newslink indicated in September 2008 that Zurich and Generali were interested in the insurer when parent bank Yapi Kredit said it was considering a sale.
